You have heard the comment”You could cut the tension with a knife.” That seemingly, off-hand comment is true. When conflict is ongoing the air becomes very heavy and dense. “How can that be?” You might ask.

Everything is energythoughts, ideas, words, emotions, and actions. When the words are conveying sadness, anger and conflict, your body can feel it. Positive or negative energy becomes embedded in everythingwalls, ceilings, furnishings, drapes and even the wall paper or paint on the walls absorbs the energy. This embedded energy then becomes the consciousness of the space. Wow! Think about it! What do you think is embedded in your home or office? What negative energy has become a part of your physical space?

We know through our intuition and common sense when something feels off, that something is not right. So what can we do about it? In someone else’s space there isn’t much we can do, except to be aware of it at all times to prevent ourselves from taking on the negative effects of the embedded energy. However, in your spacehome, cubical or office, you can do something about the energy flow.

There are several ways to set the energetic tone.

To eliminate old negative energy embedded in walls and ceilingspainting or wall paper can create, not only a changed esthetic tone, but freshness and energy shift. Before painting or wall papering, write your intentions for the space on the walls in pencil. Such as: Peaceful communication, loving conversations, harmony, kindness, etc. Thus, you are creating ‘the handwriting on the wall.’

If you are painting your office or your space of creating abundance, prosperity, affluence and influence write business words. Such as money, referrals, clients, patients, business relationships, expansion, prosperity, wealth and sharing.

Be sure to include your own words that hold the intention of manifesting prosperity. Paint or wall paper the walls beautiful colors that support you in your intentions and the manifestation you have written on the wall.

If your intention is to create a space in your home as a nurturing sanctuary, then use words you sense will accomplish that. Such as: peaceful, tranquil, safe, secure, nurturing, comfortable, unconditionally loving, friendlywrite words which support you.

If you office is in your home, combine the supportive, nurturing words with prosperity-focused words. It works. You will feel the shift in consciousness and energy almost immediately.

Feng shui is a powerful and inexpensive way to create positive and harmonious energy. Feng shui is the ancient Chinese practice of placement and arrangement of space which is claimed to achieve harmony with the environment. Feng shui, meaning “wind and water”, is not a decorating style. Rather, it is a discipline whose guidelines are compatible with many different decorating styles. The source of the term is purported to come from the poem “The winds are wild/The sun is warm/The water is clear/The trees are lush”. Feng shui is a discrete Chinese belief system involving a mix of geographical, religious, philosophical, mathematical, aesthetic, and astrological ideas. For a place to have “good feng shui” is for it to be in harmony with Nature, to have “bad feng shui” is to be incongruous with Nature. People aren’t usually described as having good or bad feng shui themselves. It is believed that certain people by force of personality or visual appearance are able to add or subtract from the feng shui of their surroundings.

My office and healing center is within my home. I have used a combination of wind, water and ‘hand writing on the walls.’ Every room has beautiful thoughts written on all the walls. Underneath the paint, the consciousness of my specific intentions and words are infused on every wall. Everyone comments on how ‘beautiful’ and ‘comfortable’ my office is. “It feels so calm and peaceful.” I smile, knowing I intentionally created that feeling for myself and my clientsthe ‘handwriting is on the wall.’ Of course, the best part is the benefit to me personally and professionally. My home and office feel wonderful all the time. And so can yours.

If your home or office is not ready for a make-over, it also works to write the words energetically on your walls. Take a pen, which has a receded point or a pencil without a lead point and write the words you want without it being visibly written.

We can change the dynamics of consciousness on this planet if every home, building and structure of any kind were embedded with the consciousness of unconditional love and words of wisdom. You will notice that many of the early 1800’s buildings have sayings written on the outside of the building. It is tragic we failed to carry that powerful concept forwardwe stopped putting the ‘handwriting on the wall.’ It is time to come back to itif not on a global scale, at least in our homes, and when possible, cubicles and offices.

Change Your Thinking and Your Actions To Stop The Debt Habit Forever

You can learn to permanently stop the debt habit no matter how much or how little money you currently earn. It is easier than you think. The first step is to change how you think about money, and to learn what you may unconsciously be doing to draw debt to you. Once you learn how to properly understand how money works, and to stop creating debt magnets in your life you will automatically start to reduce your debt.

The first step is to step back and take a look at what money really is. Learning to redefine what money is will help you see new options for dealing with it and for reducing debt.

Money is a symbol of our life’s energy. Humans agree on the symbol of money, because it is easier than trying to haul all of our worldly goods around on our back in order to trade with each other. Ask yourself honestly, how easy would life really be without money? Suppose that you are a house builder or an artist, how do you go about the daily transactions of life without money? What if your Doctor does not want or need a new house right now? Or suppose your Landlord is not interested in arts and crafts. How do you secure goods and services? Most of the time directly bartering for what we need just won’t work. That is where money comes in. No matter what you do for a living, goods and services represent time, expertise, physical resources or effort- in other words they represent ENERGY. It is a symbol of the energy that we put in to earn it, and it is a tool that allows us to get energy out of it through purchasing the goods and services we need.

Learning to think of money as energy can show us new ways to stop creating new debt, and to get rid of our old debt. This works because seeing money as energy allows us to: fully experience that what happens to our energy happens to our money. This is not as ungrounded an idea as it may initially seem. While most of us do not think that the energy we spend on things like bad relationships, or dealing with clutter, it does. Just ask anyone who has ever been divorced or who purchased an item it turns out they already had, but could not find! The truth is any energy drain is eventually a money drain. This is vitally important to understand because it allows us to take our first big practical step to permanently getting out of debt: cleaning up our personal “debt magnets.”

Energy Drains Create “Debt Magnets.” Debt magnets are habits and situations that literally draw us into more and more debt. They are the patterns of energy that can cause us to pay off one debt (or even group of debts) only to find ourselves back in a financial hole six months or a year later.

The key to seeing and getting rid of “debt magnets” is to simply ask yourself: Where is my energy going? If it is going in a direction that is unrewarding or draining, then you have a debt magnet. When this happens it keeps us from earning more money whether we are aware of it or not. It will also eventually cause to fall into additional spending that does not move us forward. For example if every time you listen to an annoying coworker complain, you treat yourself to a snack from the vending machine then you have a very simple debt magnet. You are potentially earning less because your energy is going toward the co-worker instead of toward making your job more financially rewarding and you are spending more on a quick fix to make yourself feel better. You have unconsciously reduced your earning power and increased your debt.

The Debt Magnet Challenge:

How much energy is getting stuck for you in these areas? Remember these are big categoreis and it takes time to fully understand how each area might contain energy drains for you personally. For now just go with your gut understanding and your gut instinct.

Rate yourself 1-10 with 1 being it NEVER happens that you spend time, energy, money, or worry on an area and 10 being you DAILY spend time, money, energy, or worry in that area.

1) Unorganized paperwork/bills

2) Undervalued charity / showcase work

3) Spending time on things you do not want to do, but feel emotionally blackmailed to do

4) Self-blame about money past

5) Excessive money worry and fear

6) Not knowing your numbers, or not being specific about income and expenses.

7) Habitual over commitment.

8) Unfinished tasks and business.

9) Outdated or insufficient tools and possessions.

10) Suppressed or unacknowledged emotion.

Once you are done add up your numbers and write down your total number. The higher your number the more likely it is that you are unconsciously drawing debt to you.

Challenge: Would you like to make $70 extra this month? Would you like to test this theory out and see if it really works? Challenge yourself to take simple steps to drop your debt magnet number by 7 points. The really interesting thing is if you do, you will more than likely find money coming into your life. This “new money may come in many ways. It may be in the form of unexpected earning, discounts on items you need, avoiding things like late fees, taking advantage of refunds or rebates you would have otherwise missed, collecting on money that other people owe you or some other method. Many people actually even physically find money (cash and checks) as they are cleaning up clutter and paperwork. Keep a close eye out for a two week period after reducing your debt magnet number and see what happens for you.

Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki have written a new book, “Why We Want You to be Rich: “If you believe that working hard, saving money, investing for the long-term in mutual funds and diversifying is good advice then this book may not be for you.” They were on CNBC a couple of weeks ago, a day after the book was released and it was already #1 on the Business Best Seller’s list. Their names alone cause people to act. I have read several of Kiyosaki’s books and one or two of the Donalds, but I haven’t read this one yet. I stumbled on a review of the book which didn’t say much about the book - other than it is their best one yet. However, in the review the writer discusses an email that he received from a money manager that floored me.

Jack said it even better: “In 18 years in the business of managing money I’ve NEVER [his emphasis] met anyone who accumulated significant investment assets (seven figures, or more today) from following a financial or retirement or savings plan.” “Several studies over the last 10 years have found little consistency in planning advice when researchers posing as prospective clients visit various advisers. Consumer’s Union has a summary of the research on its Web site. These plans are simply another sales angle for Wall Street and its salespeople.”

Jack spotlights a major weakness in the Trump-Kiyosaki book: In spite of all their wealth, they’re na
